wierd encounters on the road

had these 2 wierd encounters on the road last wed.

First encounter.
I was driving to work in the morning. stopped at the junction and there was this toyota on my right. as i was slightly behind, i could see that the driver was a lady. so KPO me decided to inch the car further up to see if the lady was pretty or not. :P when i saw the lady, i was surprised. she was wearing a full faced dark visor. i tought maybe she was wearing glasses or something so couldn't wear sunglasses so wore a visor instead. a few seconds later. she picked up her mobile phone and checked on her sms or something. apparently the visors was a tad to dark for her so she decided to flip up the visor. to my surprise, she was wearing a pair of sunglasses!!! well, we are having some crazy weather these days, but none too crazy until there's a need to wear 2 layers of shades to block out the sun. anyway the traffic light turned green soon after and i zoomed off.

Second encounter.
I had to visit this customer in the north for some installations. it seems that about 95% of the time i had to visit them, it would rain. there was once it rained so heavily that there were 2 seperate accidents on the expressway while i was driving there. anyway, this time round, the sky was holding up as i headed up north. halfway there, the sky opened. oh well, seems that the rain dance from the north has done it's job again.

i am evil part deux

this happened about 2 weeks ago.

was on my way home after work during the late afternoon. driving along happily until i had to stop at a junction. since there's nothing much to do except wait, i decided to look around. then something on my driver side window caught my eye. it was a lizard. i was wondering where it might had come "aboard" my car and i concluded it was the last place where i parked my car. since the lights were still red, i decided to "chase" the lizard away. i used my finger and tapped at my window from inside the car. the lizard, upon sensing the vibration scrambled to my side mirror for refuge.

the lights turned green and i had to drive off. while i was driving at my normal speed, i can see through the corner of my eyes that the lizard was trying hard to cling on to it's dear life. and it was doing a very good job considering the speed i was driving. just as i was about to reach my place, it started to pour heavily. well, time for me to focus on the road instead of the lizard. when i finally reach my place and parked the car, i tried looking for the lizard but it was nowhere to be found. i guess the heavy rain must had washed the lizard off my car. i wonder if it was crushed by any vehicles or not.

I am evil

I am evil. That's the conclusion i got after thinking back on what i did today. What happened goes something like this.

Met a couple of frens for lunch somewhere near tiong bahru. after finishing our lunch, we went our seperate ways and I drove off to head back to work. As I was driving, I saw a handful of pigeons happily strolling about in the middle of the road. Well, as most of us had experienced, when we approached a group of pigeons on the gound, they would immediately flap their wings and fly off. So i thought the same thing will happen this time round. I just released the accelerator so that the car will slow down but didn't step on the brakes, thinking that the birds will fly off in the next instant. The next thing i knew was that my car hit the birds and my front left tyre ran over the bird(s). I looked back at my rear view mirror and saw that at least one of the birds was *splat* on the road. Oh well, what's done was already done so I just continued to drive off.

Come to think of it, i guess this is how the term "bird brain" came about. Seems that their brains are so small that they can't register the sign of danger when a car is hurtling towards them at 50km/h.

Conclusion? CK is evil.
